CSU Partners with Not MY Daughter...find a cure now

As part of our community service initiative, Coral Springs United is proud to announce our continued partnership with "Not My Daughter...Find a Cure Now!". Last year, CSUFC was looking for a charity to support within our community, when CSU parent, Lisa Ciervo, came to us with the idea to have her daughter's U14 team wear pink socks during the month of October to help promote Breast Cancer Awareness. CSUFC President, Danny Reigel, saw how passionate he was about the cause (as she had lost her mother to breast cancer) and decided to run with it club wide. The entire club participated; our players ended up raising $850.00 from purchasing pink socks and wore them during their games played in October.

The club embraced the cause so well, that this year we've asked Lisa to serve as our Project Coordinator for this event. As we get closer to the start of the 2016-17 season, Coral Springs United will provide more information. Until then, if you have any questions, please contact Lisa Ciervo at 954-593-7859 or lciervo74@gmail.com.

"Our organization is honored and excited o have the support of Coral Springs United for the 2nd year in a row, as we continue to trive to build a community effort in raising funds and awareness for a cancer free future for all generations."
